“We’re all damned fools!
Some of us just have more fun with it than others. Loosen up, dear! Don’t be so afraid to cry . . . or laugh, for that matter. Laugh all you want and cry all you want and whistle at pretty men in the street and to hell with anybody who thinks you’re a damned fool!”.
About Sally
Sally Jane Alderman
Sally’s passport may say she was born in Luton, but London was where she lived.
And London lived in Sally, from West End shops to Soho’s bars and restaurants, every nook, cranny or alley was where she was most at home. London’s buildings, billboards and bollards mark, in someway, moments and memories from Sally’s own personal London story.
Alleys and Arches, Embassies and Gentlemen’s Clubs, Market Stalls and Monasteries, Shopping Arcades and Streets, all have been touched by Sallys thoughtful application of her intimate knowledge and understanding of the planning system.
Sally died on the morning of the 8th of August 2022, held by those she loved, cared for and kept safe, and by all those who loved her.
Please join me at the Asylum Chapel to celebrate Sallys life, the lives she touched and the light she brought into those she was proud to call friends and family.
